Kinja'd!!!

Gotta love a GM C-body with 4 on the floor and a tri-tone interior.

Too much monies though.

A little too red for my taste.

It is, but $56k is a hell of a lot of money.

That said, ‘61-66 big Pontiacs with manual transmissions carry a premium.

The ‘63 is my favorite year, and Marimba Red is the best exterior color for any ‘60s Pontiac.

My first new car was a Pontiac, but it was a black J-car.

Still love these boats- and it’s the interior that makes it.

Oh, it’s way too much to buy, but I wouldn’t turn it down if you gave it to me.

It looks good in red, but I need red used much more sparingly in my interiors .

It’s ridiculous-  and to the best of my knowledge, it’s *not* custom.  Pontiac had a lot of wild multi-color interiors optional during those years.

I owned an Oldsmobile from that era with an all red interior - it had more red than that Catalina does - and it was stunning.  Exterior was white, though.

I would love to buy it, if I had $$, but not at that price.

Oh, and take a good look at the steering wheel, too - that’s clear acrylic.  Courtesy of Pontiac, not some custom job.

God, GM’s styling was just so perfectly on point in that era. Understated, yet eye catching at the same time.

He really was, and the rest of upper management knew it and left him alone.

This is why people say things like “modern cars are boring”

Because you’ll never see this in a brand new Camry.
